Organic Black Beans
Black Beans, the signature ingredient in our South-West Black Bean Burger, are native to the Americas. They are high in fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants which can prevent cardiovascular disease and reduce the risk of certain types of cancer.
Organic Chickpeas
Like most legumes, Garbanzo Beans are typically valued for their fiber content. In addition to fiber, Garbanzo Beans are high in protein and and antioxidants.
Organic Kidney Beans
Kidney Beans, native to Central America and Mexico, are a staple ingredient throughout the world.  In addition to lowering cholesterol, kidney beans have a high fiber content making them a good choice for individuals with diabetes, insulin resistance or hypoglycemia.
Organic Pearled Barley
Barley is a versatile grain that provides great texture. With it's eight essential amino acids, Barley has tremendous health benefits. Barley can help control diabetes, boost the immune system, promotes skin health, and can even prevent heart disease and cancer.
Organic Super Sweet Corn
In addition to its great taste, this whole grain is packed with nutrients. Sweet corn contains about 2.8 grams of fiber and almost 4 grams of protein per serving.
Bell Pepper
Bell Peppers provide a tangy taste and crunchy texture. They are a good source of Vitamin C which helps maintain the integrity of blood vessels, skin, organs, and bones. Bell Pepper is also rich in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory nutrients which provide important anti-cancer benefits.
Carrot
Carrots serve as a rich source of anti-oxidants and vitamins, such as carotenes and vitamin-A. In addition to promoting good eye health, recent studies have shown carrots may help fight against cancer by destroying pre-cancerous cells.
Leek
Leeks belong to the same vegetable family as garlic and onions and they deliver a more delicate and sweeter flavor. Leeks are a good source of anti-oxidants, minerals, and vitamins that have been proven to reduces cholesterol, blood pressure, and coronary artery disease (CAD), peripheral vascular diseases (PVD), and stroke.
Zucchini
Zucchini is a member of the Cucurbitaceae family and relatives of both the melon and the cucumber. They have long been recognized as an important food source of antioxidants such as carotenoids, lutein, and zeaxanthin.
Portobella Mushroom
Often considered the "meat" of the vegetable world, Portobella Mushrooms contain mainy of the nutrients found in animals, beans, and grains. Mushrooms have the ability to lower bad cholestorol and even protect against cancer due to their high antioxidant levels.
Fire-Roasted Garlic
Garlic is the oldest known plant / spice consumed for it's health benefits. It was even used in WWI to treat battle wounds. Today, it is believed Garlic can reduce high cholesterol, the risk of cancer, and even treat colds and coughs.
Celery
Celery is recognized for its strong aromatic flavor and is often included in the foundation (mirepoix) of the world's greatest dishes. It's antioxidant and anti-inflammatory nutrients provide cardiovascular benefits and protect the digestive tract.
Cage-Free Egg
Cage-Free Eggs are used as our primary binding ingredient. Unlike standard eggs, Cage-Free hens are able to walk, spread their wings, and lay thier eggs in nests.
Rice Crumbs
To enhance structure and stablility, premium rice crumbs are added to our Vegetable Burgers. (Rice Flour, Water, Yeast, Salt, Sugar)
Onion
A very popular ingredient in the culinary world, onion has been utilized for millennia for medical treatment. They are known to bring relief from the common cold, asthma, bacterial infections, respiratory problems, angina, and cough.
Potato Starch
Potato Starch is starch removed from potatoes and is typically used as a binder as well as to thicken sauces. Referred to as a "Resistant Starch", Potato Starch improves your metabolism and promotes weight loss.
Tamari
Made mainly in the Chūbu region of Japan, Tamari is darker in appearance, contains less salt, and has a richer flavor than typical Soy Sauce. We use only Non-GMO Tamari.
Chipotle Chili in Adobo
Chipotle Chili in Adobe is simply dried Chipotle Chilis in a tangy / sweet red sauce. This ingredient adds depth and a hint of smoke to our South-West Black Bean Burgers. To ensure quality, this is made in-house. (Dried Chipotle Peppers, Tomato Paste, Cider Vinegar, Garlic, Spices)
Tomato Paste
Tomato Paste is made by cooking tomatoes for several hours, straining, and cooking once more to thicken and concentrate flavor. This delicious concentration is full of lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that is believed to prevent prostate cancer.
Expeller-Pressed
Canola Oil
Expeller-Pressed Canola Oil is produced by mechanically squeezing (pressing) oil from the canola seed. Other oils use hexane solvents for extraction. In addition we use only Non-GMO Expeller-Pressed Canola Oil.
Hot Sauce
Hot Sauce has become a very popular condiment and is the primary ingredient when making a Buffalo Sauce. (Cayenne Pepper, Vinegar, and Garlic)
Butter
Made from churning of fresh cream, Butter is a key ingredient in our Buffalo Sauce. In addition to its wonderful taste, Butter is rich in fat soluble vitamins including vitamins A, E, and K.
